Happy New Year and welcome back!
I hope each of you had a restful and meaningful time with your family and friends during the winter break. As educators, we at Noel Community Arts High School are thankful for all opportunities to impact young lives. Our students are the reason we’re here. As they returned to school today, the atmosphere was very positive. As the second semester approaches, the teachers, other administrators, and I have one vision for our students and we hope it closely matches yours. We want ALL of them to become all that they can be. We want them to be successful through good, consistent attendance, perseverance, utilizing help from our faculty, and working diligently. We want this because these traits will build good habits that will carry them profitably throughout their life. We expect a great deal from them because they are so very capable of producing great results! Parents, please be aware that attendance at the high school is very important.
Students must be present 95% of the time in class in order to obtain their credits. If your child has missed 10 or more days during the first semester you should receive a letter in the mail by the end of the week. If you have questions in regards to your child’s attendance, please contact the Dean, Mr. Richardson at 702-423-5749.
