More information coming soon…

Ally Olson is a local native, having grown up in Aurora, Colorado. Her musical background traces her back to when she was 3 years old, performing in a group called, “Sunshine Generation.” From there, she went on to performing in the top touring choir of Colorado Children’s Chorale. In addition to singing and performing, Ally has been playing classical and jazz piano since the age of 5. Although Ally enjoyed performing in professional groups outside of school, nothing made her happier than her school choirs. From preschool to her last year of college, Ally has been an active member of school choirs. Ally attended the University of Kansas for her Bachelor of Music Education-Music Therapy. During this time, Ally was an active member of a student-run a cappella group called, “Genuine Imitation,” in addition to the KU choirs she was already a part of. This a cappella group competed in the ICCA every year and performed all throughout Kansas. After graduation, Ally moved back home and began her private music therapy practice in Denver. After several years working as a Music Therapist, Ally realized that her true passion and joy was in teaching music. So, Ally went to graduate school at the University of Denver, received her Master of Arts in Curriculum & Instruction, and landed a spot at the best school in the world, NCAS!
